This section of the website contains many of the most used links for staff.

Please use the links to the right to navigate to those sites.

Some of the most notable sites include PIV, Moodle, SharePoint, MyCloud and AcesTube.

MyCloud is called a Web Desktop and provides access to internal resources no matter the device you are using. This is a key resource for the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) initiative.

AcesTube is our own private version of YouTube. This site can contain video, audio, photos, and even PDF documents. Resources stored here are accessible by any type of device enhancing the opportunities for the BYOD initiative.

K-12 Institute Travels to the Andes Next Summer
The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) at OSU announced its fully-funded, 4-week summer program for K-12 educators to experience the Andes. The grant covers the majority of costs for the program; participants will only pay for expenses related to a pre-departure orientation in Columbus. Click or tap here for details.
Technology PD for Credit - Summer 2017

Technology is playing an ever-increasing role in education! All of us can see this increase in our own district with the implementation of one-to-one in grades 7-12 and new hardware/software in all grades. However, technology is still only as good as the users - you and the students - who put it to work to facilitate learning.

To support your role in using technology during instruction, we are happy to offer for-credit technology professional development courses on site during the summer of 2017 through Muskingum University! These courses are open to all GEVSD staff.

Background Check Fingerprinting Service Offered

Granville Schools, in cooperation with the Granville Recreation District, now has the equipment and services to do fingerprinting for staff license renewals.

The cost, which is payable by check only, is $50 for both FBI and BCI, or $30 for just one of these. Results come back to the district within 48 hours - unless you have a common name like White or Cook. Those results take up to 30 days. Supporting English Language Learners
In our district we have almost 30 students who receive English Acquisition support. Many of these students are international adoptees and bring a unique perspective to our classrooms. Here is an article from the Ohio TESOL Journal about international adoptees from a parent perspective. I am also sharing two additional short articles about support in the classroom: one on lesson plans and another on modifying content.
