Some of the most notable sites include PIV, Moodle, SharePoint, MyCloud and AcesTube.

MyCloud is called a Web Desktop and provides access to internal resources no matter the device you are using. This is a key resource for the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) initiative.

AcesTube is our own private version of YouTube. This site can contain video, audio, photos, and even PDF documents. Resources stored here are accessible by any type of device enhancing the opportunities for the BYOD initiative.

Oct. 1 Deadline for DKG Grants for Female Teachers
Delta Kappa Gamma is offering $200 grants to female teachers in Licking County to use for an innovative educational project lacking funds from other sources. The application deadline is Oct. 1 and recipients will be notified by Oct. 15. Contact Kay Hickman to apply. 
2018 Insurance Benefits Meetings on Sept. 27 & 28

Recently you received an email about open enrollment for 2018 health insurance benefits, which is Oct. 16-27. Effective Jan. 1, the district is transitioning to a High Deductible Plan with accompanying Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).

Save the date: Lunch & Learn on Oct. 23, 11:40 a.m.-12:20 p.m., location TBD. The topic is building resilience to stress. Watch for an email from Tonya Sherburne and register by Oct. 16. 
Intro to Gifted Education Course offered at LCESC
"Introduction to Gifted Education" is a year-long, 30-hour course offered by the Licking County Educational Service Center. There is an option to earn up to 2 semester hours of credit, the course is also an opportunity to earn hours toward license renewal. Registration closes October 13, 2017. You do not need to be assigned gifted students in order to enroll in this course.
The cost of the course is $50, which includes the book, Differentiating Instruction for Gifted Learners. Click or tap here for more information and to register.
Background Check Fingerprinting Service Offered

Granville Schools, in cooperation with the Granville Recreation District, now has the equipment and services to do fingerprinting for staff license renewals.

The cost, which is payable by check only, is $50 for both FBI and BCI, or $30 for just one of these. Results come back to the district within 48 hours - unless you have a common name like White or Cook. Those results take up to 30 days. To make a fingerprinting appointment, please contact the District Office staff member listed on the calendar below:
