The primary purpose of this section is to provide links to various resources both inside and outside the district. Please use the links on the right hand side of this page to access web resources and/or instructions on how to setup/use them.

Different Technologies Explained

Student Email – every student in grade 3-12 has a Granville Schools email account. Students use their current computer username plus @granvilleschools.org then their current computer password to login. For example, if your name was John Smith and you were a senior graduating in 2018, your username would be [email protected]. Students have email through Office 365. They do not have email through Google.

Cloud Storage - Students have unlimited storage using OneDrive through Office 365 as well as Google Drive through G Suite.

Passwords - Some cloud services require a synch process to maintain up to date passwords. Changing your network password on a Windows computer will start this process which normally completes in less than 5 minutes. You can also use our password service to recover and manage your password remotely. This will also start a password synch for any related services.

Schoology – Schoology is our district's LMS or Learning Management System. A LMS is very different than a webpage as it can allow much more than the delivery of content. A LMS enables a more engaging experience for students including forums, assessments, chat and video meetings. Schoology has several safety components included such as anti-bullying notification and web filter integration. Schoology currently is active in grades K-12

Classlink is a web desktop that provides a one-time login to common services used in our schools. Login, click on the resource you need and have the system remember your password for easier access next time you need it. This service is available in and out of the district. It works on school issued or personal devices.

BYOD or BYOT – Bring Your Own Device program encourages students to bring in their personal device regardless of the manufacturer. Students can connect their device to a network provided for students. Please keep in mind that this right can be revoked if you violate the district's network policies. Student policies are available under the Board of Education page as well as in the student handbooks.
