GHS Weekly Newsletter

GHS Families,

We are two weeks away from Spring Break and the end of the 3rd grading period. Most of our students have had the opportunity to enter their scheduling requests into PowerSchool. If you have any questions about scheduling please reach out to myself or your child's counselor.

Seniors the first big event towards graduation takes place on Tuesday, March 12th with Caps and Gowns arriving. Mr. Phillips from Herff-Jones will be at GHS during lunch periods and at CTEC in the afternoon.

Go Blue Aces!

Sincerely,

Mr. Hinton

GHS Principal

Jersey Day: Honoring Tristan Tolloty

Last year on March 18, 2023, our community experienced the loss of Tristan Tolloty. Tristan was a kind, caring, and resilient person who loved his friends, comedy, travel, and sports (especially Cleveland sports teams). This year on March 18, we invite all students to wear a jersey or their favorite sports gear in remembrance of Tristan’s life and legacy. Know that grieving is a process and that it can look different for each person. Let’s be empathetic to each other and take care of each other as we honor Tristan in this way.

We are thrilled to invite you to a Parent Information Session where we will dive into one of our most exciting educational student travel options– Ms. Seibold’s ‘Business in Italy, France, and Spain’ Trip. Granville student travel experiences offer students the ability to explore ancient ruins, immerse themselves in vibrant cultures, or embark on thrilling adventures– either way, each trip promises an unforgettable experience.

Why this tour stands out: Experience four countries on this tour of southern Europe. Discover how Cinque Terre has retained its original charm, learn how the French Riviera became the place to be for generations of rich and famous, and see how Antoni Gaudí’s surreal architecture has turned the city of Barcelona into one big gallery.

See on-the-ground footage of what your student will experience on this tour here.

Don’t miss this chance to ignite your child’s curiosity and passion for exploration. We look forward to seeing you there!
