EXCHNAGE STUDENTS
Recently, several exchange student programs have solicited Granville parents to become host families for the upcoming school year. Granville Schools welcomes exchange students and the positive impact they can have on our own student body. However, there are very specific guidelines that Granville Schools must follow and only certain types of exchange students that can be accepted to attend Granville High School. Additionally, our past experiences with several exchange student program vendors has required us to discontinue our work with them in the future. Before signing or agreeing to be a host family, we ask that families inquire about the organization and the District’s willingness to partner with them by contacting GHS Principal Scott Hinton ([email protected]) or GEVSD Asst. Superintendent Ryan Bernath ([email protected]).

GHS SPRING MUSICAL
Granville High School’s Theater Department is excited to present MTI’s The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th at 7 pm. This comedic musical follows an eclectic group of spellers in the race for first place and a ticket to nationals. There is outrage over easy words, and ridiculous example sentences for each of the words. Spellers have to work through the pressures placed upon them by their families. They work through the challenges of adolescence with silly, light-hearted songs. There are candid and touching songs that enhance this exciting musical about what seems to be a boring event: a spelling bee. Over 80 GHS students are involved in the production!
The 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
Please note that this show is rated PG due to adult themes. Come to Granville High School for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! Tickets are $10 each and are general admission. Find tickets at showtix4u.com
