Graduating Class of 2023

Attention Senior Parents,
In May, your child is scheduled to graduate as a member of the Class of 2023. You can show them how proud you are of their accomplishments by placing a Senior Tribute in the 2022-2023 Blue and White Yearbook. Whether you embarrass them with baby pictures, showcase their talents, or write them a special message, their Senior Tribute will be a lasting reminder of their years in high school, their achievements, and your pride. Please take a moment to review our advertising rates and deadlines. If you would like to purchase a Senior Tribute, return the completed contract along with the material you would like featured on your tribute by Feb. 15. If you have questions, please contact Amy Tolbert at [email protected].

Graduate Names on Diplomas

Please submit your graduating senior's name for their diploma by Friday, February 24, 2023. This is their name as it will appear on their diploma. First, Middle and Last name.

Senior Exam Information

Seniors will be exempt from taking seniors exams if they have an A average for the second semester of a yearlong course or an A average for a semester course. They must have missed no more than seven (7) school days for the year or during the semester in the class in which they have an A average for the second semester. Each teacher is responsible to provide seniors with the information that would show the students they are exempt from that particular class exam.

Senior Exams are scheduled for May 18th and 19th.

Denison Summer Institute

We’re excited to introduce the Summer TUTTI Performing Arts Camp, a new 8-day residential summer high school intensive in dance, music, and theatre. At Summer TUTTI, students live and learn with peers from across the disciplines and across the country. They’ll deepen their skills and talents in their chosen area while exploring new ways of making art, guided by Denison professors as well as nationally-acclaimed professional artists and ensembles, including ETHEL, Third Coast Percussion, and Available Light Theatre.

We welcome dancers (all styles), instrumentalists (strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, and percussion), composers, and students interested in all aspects of theatre-making (acting, directing, designing). Current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders
are eligible to apply. This year’s program runs from June 24 to July 1, 2023.

We’re seeking energetic, talented students from a variety of backgrounds. Tuition for the 8-day residential program is $1,500 and need-based financial assistance is available. No student should feel discouraged by financial considerations from applying. The priority application deadline is March 1, 2023.

If you know of any young performing artists who might be interested in this program, please direct them to summer
tutti.denison.edu for the online application link and more information! Please also pass the word to teachers and friends
who may know students who would be interested in this program.
