Technology PD:

Level I (Beginner) - Due to limited interest and availability for the Level I course this year, we will be offering a shorter, by-appointment version of this course. This course can be scheduled with Evan and will consist of two 6-hour days or three 4-hour days for 1 credit hour ($130). This can take place in a small group or a one-on-one setting. Available dates for these courses include: June 11-14 and any 2- or 3-day window from July 16-August 3.  When registering, send the dates and times you are interested in working with Evan.
Level II (Advanced) - A 4-day course offered June 18-21 from 9 AM - 4 PM. Intended for those who feel comfortable learning new tech tools fairly quickly and those who have completed Level I in the past. 2 credit hours available for $260 ($130 per credit).

Do not hesitate to contact Ryan with any questions!

Advanced Tech Topics - A 4-day course from 9 AM - 4 PM. Course available on June 4-7 and August 6-9 (these are two separate offerings, attendees will sign up for one session or the other). This course will be more open-ended than Level I and Level II, with attendees choosing two to four areas of focus to explore tools and pedagogy with independent and full-class supports available. June 4-7 session targeted more towards those who would like to explore a specific set of topics as a group (though you can still work independently), while August 6-9 session will be more open-ended with roaming support as-needed. 2 credit hours available for $260 ($130 per credit). Specify which date (June or August) you are registering for in your response.

Literacy PD:

Teacher’s College at GES and GIS will be August 13–17. We have already had a registration process for this so there is no need to re-register. 2 graduate credits from Muskingum University will be available. There is a limit of 25 staff for the grades K – 2 and the grades 3 – 5 sessions.

Our mission of Learning for Life is one that is rooted in continuous improvement in all aspects of our organization. It is our goal to provide meaningful and convenient professional development for all staff that is embedded in what you are trying to achieve with our students from a curricular, instructional and assessment standpoint. And if we can provide some reasonably-priced graduate credit towards re-licensure and other pursuits, that is icing on the PD cake. I am looking forward to a great summer of learning!
