School Messenger Notifications
Granville Schools uses School Messenger for parent, staff and community member notifications via email, text and voice. We are upgrading to a web-based portal for you to manage your preferences.

Open a web browser and visit https://go.schoolmessenger.com
You will be presented with the following screen. If this is
your first time accessing the site, you will need to register by clicking on
the Sign up link in the top right hand corner.

You will need to enter your email address associated with SchoolMessenger. This should be the same email address that you use in the parent portal. Staff, this will be your district email and not your personal email address. If the system cannot find your email address, it will provide a second prompt to lookup by phone number.
You can log into the system once you have signed up and confirmed via email.
Set Your Preferences
Clicking on the three bars in the top left hand corner will expand the menu. Clicking on the preferences item will allow you to change your phone numbers, email addresses and preferences for different types of communication.
One of the quirks of the interface is that you cannot select an item to edit it. If you want to change your home phone number, you will need to add a new number and delete the old one. The system will enforce that you have at least one contact number in our system, so it is good practice to add a new number before deleting an old number.
School Messenger Apps
You may have noticed on the main login page that School Messenger also provides iOS and Android apps to manage your account as well. After the sign up process, you can log into the apps with the same credentials.
