Welcome! At Granville Middle School, we strive to create a vibrant learning community of tolerant and compassionate adolescents. We hope that you will find this website useful during your child’s two years at GMS.
We offer many opportunities for students to grow and develop both academically and socially. Our goal is to offer a challenging and rigorous curriculum while meeting your child’s needs. We have an exceptional fine arts program offering chorus, honors chorus, orchestra, band, marching band and steel drum band. Participation in extra-curricular activities is an integral component of the total school curriculum. It is our belief that students will enhance their self-esteem, expand socialization skills and build teamwork and character. Students can participate in an extensive list of sports and clubs.
GMS has received the National Blue Ribbon Award and the Making Middle Grades Work Pacesetter School Award. These awards would not have been possible without the wonderful support we have in Granville from parents and the community. Students come ready to learn and our staff members are very dedicated and hardworking. Granville is a place where everyone values education.
