GHS/GMS Jazz Bands Host Outdoor Festival May 20
The GHS & GMS Jazz Bands will host the 1st Annual Outdoor Jazz Festival on May 20 at the OSU-Newark & COTC Outdoor Amphitheater, 12:30-8 p.m. (Rain plan: Reece Center.) There are 14 jazz bands performing, and the Heisey Wind Ensemble Big Band will perform at 7 p.m.! Enjoy performances by the GHS Electric Strings, Blue Notes & Ace-apellas. Bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, Frisbees and an appetite - food vendors include Steamroller Bagels, Moe’s BBQ, Franks & Sammies and Whit’s Frozen Custard.
