The Granville High School Bands traveled to Atlanta during winter break to perform at the 2015 Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl and to compete in numerous surrounding competitions. Members of the GHS Concert Band, Jazz Band and Marching Band, which includes 35 eighth-grade students, made the trip and brought home several awards.
The Marching Band placed first in Class II (based on size) for the Field Show Competition, and second for the Parade Competition. The band earned the highest Gold Rating in both competitions! The Concert Band placed first in Class II and earned a Gold Rating. The Jazz Band also took first place and came home with a Gold Rating.
