Battelle Honors GHS Teacher Jeremy Hopping

Battelle for Kids recognized GHS teacher Jeremy Hopping as a Celebrate Teaching Distinguished Educator for his impact on students, colleagues and the community. The teacher of AP American Government, Global Issues and U.S. History was one of 44 educators honored June 14. (Click here for more details.)

The nomination said, "Jeremy Hopping challenges students to meet a high level of expectations and his students respond to that challenge. Teaching students from freshman through senior year, he engages them in class with purposeful questioning and direct instruction. His knowledge of content is unquestionable. In addition to the success his students enjoy on ACT Quality Core and Advanced Placement exams, they are equally prepared to perform well in debate and discussion settings and through the written word."
