Students will acquire the attitudes, knowledge and skills contributing to effective learning in school and for life.
Students will complete school with the academic preparation essential to choose from a wide range of substantial post-secondary options, including college.
Students will understand the relationship of academics to the world of work and to the life at home and in the community.
Delivery System:
- Individual counseling: working with students one-on-one to monitor progress, set short-term goals, and plan for high school.
- Mediation: collaborating with students, parents, and teachers to initiate communication, and create a team of support.
- Referrals: connecting families with outside tutoring and community agencies, and working with the GMS intervention team to develop a plan to assist and support students within the classroom.
